Take Survey: plan for the US Highway 40 corridor

Greetings 5th District -

The City of Kansas City, Missouri, in conjunction with Mid America Regional Council, is working with local citizens and stakeholders to complete a corridor plan for the US Highway 40 corridor in Jackson County.  Within the City, the study team in particular is focusing on planning for future transportation and land use ideas for three focus areas along or near the corridor:  31st and Prospect, 40 Highway and Blue Ridge Cutoff, and 40 Highway and Noland Road.

Members of the public participated in a series of public meetings for the corridor plan prior to the recent holiday season.  The study team is working on creating its overall recommendations for the US 40 plan and would like to gain greater input from members of the public in the form of a survey that reflects a series of questions posed to meeting participants prior to the holidays.

We encourage you to take the survey listed below and to share the survey link with your constituents.  The survey will remain open through March 5, 2013.
