KC Paint Program

This is a City Sponsored program to assist eligible
KCMO residents in obtaining house paint and supplies
to paint the homes in which they reside.

The Paint Program is open to KCMO Residents who meet
the program guidelines as outlined in this application.
For persons with disabilities needing reasonable accommodations,

Dumpster Day is Here!

Rental Property Inspection Program

The program is dedicated to the proactive inspection of rental properties in designated areas in order to preserve the community’s rental housing stock and the viability of the city’s neighborhoods. It is further aimed at promoting greater compliance with health and safety standards to reduce substandard conditions in rental housing.

There would be two components to this program.

  • Registration of all rental dwellings in the entire city.

  • Periodic inspection of rental dwellings located in designated target neighborhoods



The onsite public hearings for the Residential Rental Registration will be held at these locations:
North Kansas City
Aug. 23, 6:30 p.m.
Golden Oaks Center
3100 N.E. 46th St.

South Kansas City
Aug. 27, 7 p.m.
Baptiste Educational Center
5401 E. 103rd St.

Central Kansas City
