Free admission for Kansas City, Missouri, residents
from Thu., October 1 until Mon., November 30, 9:30am-4:00pm
Price: free
The debate over whether it's better to live on the Missouri or the Kansas side of these cities may never be resolved. But for zoo lovers, anyway, a KCMO address is currently more beneficial. All month, the Kansas City Zoo (6800 Zoo Drive) is letting in residents of its side of the state line for free. The offer extends through November. Those without a photo ID or a bill showing a Missouri-side address must pay regular zoo admission: $10.50 for adults, $9.50 for seniors, and $7 for kids ages 3 to 11.
The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
