Just in case you haven’t already seen some of the signs being posted along 85th Street, Marlborough
residents will soon have bus access to Save-A-Lot at 85th & Holmes, businesses at 85th & Wornall,
and the Ward Parkway Shopping Center at 85th & State Line effective July 1st.

The 85th Street bus line will also help those wanting to connect with other bus routes, such as Troost,
to access the Swope South Health Clinic at 89th & Troost.
These route changes were made possible by a comprehensive study that allowed
residents to make their voices heard. Over 700 comments were received
on existing bus service that led to these changes.
Some of the route involved includes:
· Route 54 Armour Paseo: Route 54’s southern end will change to provide new service between 85th St. & The Paseo to Ward Parkway Center.
Service at 85th & Prospect will be replaced by Route 175.
Service levels will be adjusted to better match demand: less rush hour service, but twice as much midday service.
· Route 175: Route 175 will be realigned to serve 85th & Prospect
and replace Route 54 service realigned to Ward Parkway Center.
Service to Overland Park will remain.· Troost Max Green Line: Troost MAX will provide service between downtown
and Bannister & Drury on weekdays and weekends, and will replace 25 Troost weekend
service to Bannister & Drury.
· 25 Troost:
To match weekday service, Route 25 weekend service will operate between downtown
and 83rd & Troost.

Weekend service south of 83rd St. will be replaced by Troost MAX.
With the upgrade of Troost MAX evening service Route 25 evening service will be shortened.
· 296 Bannister Hillcrest MetroFlex: Scheduled stops will be introduced at the Bannister & Drury
transfer center to improve connections with fixed-route service.
There will be additional changes coming to routes in October.
