Community groups organize Sept. 16th rally for children
Several community groups are participating in a nationwide rally to raise awareness about issues involving children and families.
The Kansas City Step Up for Kids rally will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15th, at Theis Park (south of the Nelson-Atkins Museum) from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Local sponsors include Partnership for Children, AARP-Missouri, CCO, Cornerstones of Care, The Family Conservancy, LINC, MORE2 and Operation Breakthrough.
Please share this opportunity with parents, families and others.
The goals are to raise public awareness, encourage citizens to register to vote, and to ask candidates to address children issues.
