Leaf and brush drop-off sites reopen March 15
City of Kansas City, Mo., leaf and brush drop-off sites will reopen March 15 after closing for the winter.
The leaf and brush drop-off sites are located at 1815 N. Chouteau Trafficway (just south of the Missouri River) and 10301 Raytown Road (south of Interstate 470). The sites will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., or sunset, depending on which is earlier.

Drop-off site rules are:
- If you use plastic bags, you must empty them and take them with you
- No duct tape or wire
- No grass clippings or trash
- Proof of residency, such as a driver's license or water bill, is required.

Grandview and Raytown residents may use the sites with a voucher purchased from their respective municipalities.
Residents needing to dispose of leaves and brush also may use the City's curbside Leaves and Brush Collection Program. The spring collection will take place beginning in April.
